The Saint Raphael Healthcare System has announced the following appointments: Alan Kliger, MD has been named vice president, chief medical officer and chief quality officer. Kliger has been with St. Raphael’s since 1983, beginning as an attending nephrologist. Most recently he was chairman of Saint Raphael’s department of medicine. Previously Kliger was clinical professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine.
